An interesting article on BuzzNet. A breakdown of movies, considered "Almost Flawless". Some surprising candidates. But, if you consider the movie, and not the genre, all seem worthy.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Silence

Jaws

Unforgiven

There Will Be Blood

John Wick

You Were Never Really Here

The Witch

Manchester By The Sea

No Country for Old Men.
Day the Earth Stood Still.

You Were Never Really Here is listed twice.

Thanks. Corrected. The article listed it twice. :beerchug:

The list looks like it was done by a 20 something.

Well, we have to start somewhere. Better than what other 20 somethings are doing. :)
But, I think it is a decent, modern list of films. Many that I've seen, though some good suggestions, of a number of movies that I haven't yet had the pleasure of viewing.

I will admit, I don't like movies that are too "dark". I like to be entertained. Already too much darkness in real life.

The link has a page of explanation for each film listed. What I found intriguing is that the first film in the list is: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Despite its unlikely title, it is one of my favorite films. Jim Carrey is actually a superb dramatic actor. If you don't believe that is possible, watch.

Oh ... I'd also add Sucker Punch, if only for the sound track. Some outstanding covers of the old rock anthems included.

(and the bevy of beautiful babes is a big plus)

Sucked me into that one - but WARNING -
that's simply one of those click-bait sites with a ton of intrusive ads
and garbage running in the background - I clicked offsite after 3 pages.

First -- its got TOO MUCH JOAQUIN PHOENIX!!
They got Assassignation of Jesse James and neither True Grit??
They got Silence but not TaxiDriver or Raging Bull or ... Hugo??
They got John Wick? Guardians 2? and Spidey 2??
They got The Witch but nothing by ShyamalamaDingDong?

Are you kidding me??

I could go on and on, but certainly not willing to lend credibility to a click-bait site review by an obvious newcomer to film ...

NOT IMPRESSED!
Her, Manchester By The Sea, and
You were never really here -
is TOO MUCH JOAQUIN PHOENIX!!
Why not just add The Master and be done with it!

Yes, these clickbait lists are always whatever was most popular the last 20 years.
We old people had the advantage of endless reruns of classic films on regular Television channels for decades, they were always on, we didn't have to seek them out on YouTube or Netflix.

So, of the movies listed in the article, did anyone consider a particular movie "Flawless"? Are there new classics?
