Turntable Build

I was given my uncle's Garrard Type A Mk II record changer. It worked, but made a lot of constant gear noises. Once under the hood, I realized the likelihood of ever fixing and re-assembling it back to it's original state were slim to none, so I stripped out all the mechanized functions, replaced the original arm with a Marantz tonearm, built a custom plinth, added a clear acrylic mat, and spruced it up some. The cart is currently an AT-3600L with the LP vivid line stylus.
