Thank you SO much for your postings under "Has anyone here worked on early Betamax VCRs"! I have just purchased a non-working Sony SL-8200 and it is my intention to bring it back to life, although I have never done such a thing. This is the equivalent of saying "I want to go to the Moon, but I don't know how." Your postings, with every step detailed, is the thing that makes me think getting to the moon is possible. I can't thank you enough for generously documenting your steps through that process! So invaluable to a newbie like myself! THanks again!
