    Back in the late 90's my business insurance policy added a statement excluding "Internet Liability" from coverage. My broker could not explain what this meant and I bet the insurance company didn't really know either, they just wanted to cover their butts.

    The biggest problem is that as AI harvests data from the internet, it has no way to know what is fact and what is fiction.

    Laser discs are not good?

    I used to love my laser disc player back in the day. The remote and drive unit were so responsive, you could tap your finger on the rewind button really fast and make a fight scene look like break dancing. DVD and Blu-ray still can't match that.

    I like to be able to hear every instrument clearly. Whatever it takes to make that happen is what I prefer. (and do)

    I bought the Vinyl Flat with Groovy Pouch almost 15 years ago. Used it twice. It worked great. It would have been cheaper to replace the records.

    Their target customers don't care about any of that. Most will pay someone else to unbox it and set it up. The specs on the $8,000 speakers that come with it are impressive.

    What tv show are you currently binging?

    That is exactly what I found with the foreign language Netflix series. The subtitles would show "Yes sir" and the lips continue to move for another 30-40 seconds. I'm sitting there wondering what the rest of the conversation was.
