hi there I saw that you purchased a garrard 210 - I did too...and it turns but the needle seems to slide across the records ... I don't know ANYTHING about record players, but I am trying to salvage this. CAn you give me any tips or suggestions on what I need to do? I am thinking maybe a newer needle? but I cant find anyone who will even look at it. Any advice would be appreciated.t

Before I forget, if you do decide to ship it out, keep in mind these decks are heavy and fragile, so pack it for War. See if anybody on these sites has experience with the local shop you are considering.
