I have played with stereo gear for most of my life, I got to a point where I was frustrated that I could not afford to play the game on the level I wanted to. I made that happen by learning to build my own tube electronics. I am no master, but I can fix any piece of gear in my system. And everything between my phono pickup and my speaker, I built.
