I know it's been a long time since you posted the reply I'm reffering to, but please try to remember. I recently picked up a Sansui xr-q11 from a family member and I'm having the same problem you described: the main motor will not spin when start/stop is pressed or when the needle is manually moved to the center. You said that you were going to have it serviced, did you ever find the problem? I have the service manual and I've been working all night trying to get this table to spin, but with no avail. Any help would be appreciated!
