Just picked this thing up from an electric motor shop today. Guy said once everyone's phones lost their audio jacks they stopped using it and bought a Bluetooth speaker. :D

I've already blown a lot of debris off. My Q is - can I wash this thing?? Or spray these boards with simple green and scrub with a brush?

Brought it up on DBT - plays just fine!

Simple green is really all it took.

Everything works except dial lamps, wedge kind, which are in order.

Set bias to 20mV
DC offset is less than 10mV on R but 190mV on L.

Not sure what to do about that since there seems to be no adjustment?

Okay so something something differential pair.

Could someone help me with the schematic?

Is it TR601/603 which would be the differential pair?

Wow. That is nuts. Also a bit crazy that nobody thought it would be a good idea to maybe clean it once a year or something. That was some real filth.
Hah. Dudes in a machine shop. Shoulda seen what they were using for mismatched speaker cables...

Edit: actually I think you can in the first pic. One looked like an 18awg speaker cable, the other was a 12 awg power cable.

Very similar build as my Realistic STA-78- the heat sink is the same part, looks like both were made by Fostex or Tandy in Japan.

Nice restoration! Who would have known that here was such a nice case under there and it looks great under the hood too!

Never saw one quite that bad, I have a KR 6400 Kenwood that was in a restaurant kitchen, quarter inch thick greasy film everywhere but cleaned up well with some acetone and alcohol. The Concept line is very well built from Pacific Stereo in the west part of the country. I have a 2.0 Concept that the tuner dial shaft was frozen drilled a small hole used some Liquid wrench and good as new. It picks up FM really well and sounds great in my shop, a good thirty-dollar purchase.
