I did, multiple times, even ran it for several days. It worked fine until the first time I put the car out in the sun and the roof got hot, then it was just vanilla rotten rodent with urine garnish thanks to the dead critter, it's leavings, and the vanillaroma little tree air freshener.Ozone Generator... put it in the car with the windows up and let it run for an hour... repeat as necessary until the stench is gone. I used mine on my wifes car, took about four one hour sessions to get rid of all the cigarette stench. I also had to do a couple runs in the trunk too. People that clean up homes after fires or hoarder cat ladies use these:

The problem is, those critters LOVE to chew on super-expensive OEM wiring looms. I've had friends with Garage Queens who only fire them up twice a year.I'm starting to wonder---- How many of us driving around with little mouse families in the car? Do you suppose they ever say, "C'mon guys! Let's get out here! It feels like better weather over here!"

One guy had a Mercedes-Benz 450SL. He tried to start it, and all he got was a solid set of warning lights on the dash — nothing else. Look under the hood, and there was this huge rat's nest right above the engine wiring loom, all nicely chewed to pieces.
