It's a coupe though, not a sedan. If 19' 5" long coupes exist, somebody must have made convertibles out of some of them...

Nature's miracle ( or secret, I forget ) worked for me.
I had mice in my blowermotor. Cleaned it out, fabricated block off plates from punched aluminum sheet. I now drop a dryer sheet on top of the motor. My ride smells spring fresh.. ( I have 3 collector cars, and all have been invaded at different times. The dryer sheet works )

I put dryer sheets in the back seats and trunks, even in cars that are currently active. If anything, it gives the cars that laundry-fresh, unwrinkled vibe.
I had some dryer sheets but ran out, probably when the rodent moved in. We don't use them in the dryer, using what are basically doggie chew toys instead. Mom has issues with the perfume in the dryer sheets. Need to go buy another box and put a couple in the cars.
I haven' gotten much further with this. Got the insulation sprayed twice with the enzyme cleaner but haven't put the thing outside to bake in the sun for a while. Need to drag out the saw horses and some clamps to keep it from flying away. I have been inside the car a few times since the headliner got removed and it doesn't stink anymore so if all else fails the headliner can stay out so the car is usable.

Would you pass on a good tube amp because the filaments hog electricity? Some things we just have to have for whatever reason. Paul

I would. I've done the tube amp thing starting in 1980. The last 2 I got rid of were Citation II's, a pair.
Class D's the way of the future. Everything about them is, better.
I still have 2 Pass Labs amps that mostly sit idle.
mkane, I get what you are saying. But there is a tremendous wow factor in the gleaming chrome and lit filaments of a pair of MC30's, vs a small black box, or the spinning reels of a pioneer RT909 that creates music vs a thumb drive, or a 1986 Lincoln Town car vs modern sub-compact's that all look alike. They are as impersonal as a text message vs talking to a real human. Paul.
Has your Mom tried these? Wool balls. One son calls them "sheep balls," but I think domesticated sheep have no balls.
Anyhow, they work wonders for a long time. I think the ones we use were bought over 10 years ago.

absolutely not. Not into cars without a roof or a hole in the roof. Too many leaks.

Link is blocked but its probably what we are using. They are baseball-sized things that are squishy. They also look like dog toys.

Well said! I am now driving less than 5000 miles a year. I really don't care about gas mileage.

My wife made her own---a long and messy process. She made about 25 around the size of tennis balls---all different colors. Been using them for about 5 years.
That's more than a car. That is an automobile.

It's a process called FELTING. Raw wool is soaked and rolled and combed and messed with in various ways until it becomes dense and hard--like felt.
