Pioneer PL-5 assembly guide

Questionable

New Member
I searched on here and found an old thread where someone mentioned an assembly guide. Is that still available, by chance? I got one from a friend to clean up. I took it apart once, then reassembled without issue. There were a couple of other things I wanted to look into, so I took it apart again, this time removing the cam and cleaning and re-lubing under there. Reassembled, and motor turned smoothly, but when started up it behaves erratically, as in the motor doesn't completely start and seems to be stuck in some weird back and forth mode. I'm fairly certain I followed the correct procedure for reassembly, but maybe I missed something, or possible some internal part is out of place slightly? Any help is appreciated. The manual doesn't help as much as I would like.

There are 2 plastic bosses. one in front of the size selector and one in front of the repeat. You have to hook the springs over these bosses before reinstall. then, after assembly, spin the platter by hand while cycling the switches
