:D

Hey Folks

I have a Technical Question about this Lid Clamp.

Does the Mayonnaise Jar Lid have to have been kept on Funk & Wagnels Front Porch since Noon Today???

Just Teasing :-)

I think I'll try that clamp on my new TT.

Gotta love the $90k price tag for the above.

To be honest, I think I will try out this clamp just as soon as I finish up the jar of peanut butter in my pantry. I'm not adverse to such budget tweaks, my current record puck is -- can you guess it? -- a marble salt shaker. The fill hole goes right over the spindle and I find it "seasons" the music very well. Wonder if I could combine them, peanut butter jar lid and salt shaker? :scratch2:

You should reconsider the peanut butter lid, it adds a different flavour to the sound.
Mayonnaise lids are proven to give a creamy texture to the sound that will have you coming back for more.

Ah, but which is better, mayonnaise for that smoother flavor with classical music or Miracle Whip to give a bit more zip with jazz?

Like people with several carts or arms, you could have a variety of salad dressing lids for the music you're playing. Maybe the crunchy peanut butter lid for Soundgarden and a Hellemans for Mel Torme.

I prefer to use chunky peanut butter for that rough hard core roack sound great with Jefferson Airplane and AC/DC

I think Soundgarden makes both of them look like the middle of the road AOR bands that they are.

It is a retail commercial product just like Miracle Whip or Skippy Peanut Butter. Think those containers come from jars of pig's feet too?

How about pigs' feet pickled in moonshine? Sounds like a great bar food, cause: a) it's pickled, b) it's moonshine, and c) you'd have to be pretty darned schnakered to try it.

I might actually be willing to try that, if only to say that I did. Though, I'd rather drink off the White Lightning (what an old timer friend used to call his moonshine from back in the day) before attempting the pigs feet. Ah, I'll have to remember this, pickled pig's feet make for a great hijack.

There is a bar in Dawson Alasksa where they make a cocktail with a human finger or toe in it!!!!The digital has been donated (I assume by the person who lost it) and then they Pickle it like and egg. You don't eat/drink it you just use it like a temp ice cube. Supposed to put hair or something on your chest.

ECK!
