I lost a good friend yesterday. I was changing filter caps on my modded PS1/1001, and with already lifted pads,:tears: Itried to go directly to the legs on the surface mounted DAC. They became brittle, and well this is why I have more than one.:thmbsp: I will die with my toys!:yes:

I'm prepping for a new base or case, I have some ideas just nothing for sure.
And why I posted, I would like to build a Linear PS. Having never been down that road I am hoping for a little knowledge along the way, ok maybe a lot.
