Recently heard about the inaugural Burning Amp Festival in San Francisco scheduled for October 21. There should be lots of cool stuff including some innovative diy tube equipment. Definitely for audio fanatics of all stripes. Check it out:

I checked the guest list and they are people coming from Serbia, The Netherland, Ontario, India, Lithuania, Stockton and all over the US.

I signed up!

Hey, if there are people coming all the way from Stockton, it must be good! :lmao:

Come on guys and gals any more takers? Couple of years from now we can take over a Nevada playa, run around nekkid, cruise around on tube powered vehicles and set fire to the "Burning Amp!"

Damn, I'd love to go to both Burning Man and Burning Amp, but due to financial constraints I can't do neither (already missed BM'07:tears:)!

How cool would it be in a few years Burning Amp does grow in attendance and is relocated to Black Rock Desert! But I wouldn't want to see an actual amp be sacrificed at "the burn"...although seeing an old clunker go up in smoke would be interesting...:D

I'm just imagining Burning Amp actually at the playa, being worshipped in the warm morning sun by loads of semi-naked women...
