The Fun and Beauty of this Hobby

Ok, I'm cheating here, showing off the birthday gift (a Fisher 50b tuner from 1961) with one of the best album covers of all time (garage sale find).

Thanks for the birthday wishes. This hobby is almost too much fun.

Cheers, Snade

Tubes & boobs, boobs & tubes, either way they make a great pair.

Nice birthday present BTW, I've always liked those Fisher's of that era.

Very nice clean Fisher there. Tubes need to be seen AND heard!

(A bit like the record in the background :D)

Snade,

Glad to see you have good taste in equipment - both the Fisher and, er...

I just picked up that LP at Cheapo Records in St. Paul this week. I haven't given it a spin yet, but I've admired the cover enough. :D

Again, Happy BDay to ya's! :thmbsp:

I like the contents of No Secrets, too.

Now you need to get a copy of Playing Possum... needn't bother with the LP, just the cover.

Great birthday gift, Snade!:thmbsp:

Who could forget that classic album cover. One of my classmates in college worked at the local AM rock radio station and a poster of that album cover was on the studio wall. He was playing one of her cuts from that album and at the end he announced: "That was Carly Simon with her second big hit,......
Yes, she has two big ones!":D

Hmm. A Gemini. Thus the attraction to such a nice pair. She could be vain if she wanted to. Hell, she could even sing a song about me. Nice tuner by the way. And happy B-Day.

Regards,

D-Ray
