Well now THIS is interesting . . . . .White Lightning Moonshine Cables . . .

thanks to badbadbad for pointing this 6Moons review out to me . . .

I haven't hit Wally World yet to grab the 'patio cable' but I think this just became the next project I'm busting out. Anyone else try this out ? Seems like a pretty sweet & easy project . . .

Based on the article, The Multi-Contact LS4 Banana Plug can only be bought in bulk . . . . 100 is the minimum . . .

I wonder if we could get a AK 'Group Buy' going on the interconnects :scratch2:

I just built a set and they are working in. I wasn't as happy with the interconnects as I am with the speaker connects. I was able to buy the LS4 plugs locally and not in bulk but they could be had in pairs.

Im using these, I bought 2 40 footers.
Im doing all the wiring in my speaker project with these and my main wires.

I did just notice when breaking into the second roll that they are different, thinner outer jacket, different color green wires...the copper looks the same and solders the same...but Id hate to find out one is good and the other crap.

I have built a bunch of the WLM speaker cables and interconnects. Other home improvement stores sell equivalent cords to the Woodmasters cords Walmart sells. I've very happy with the WLM speaker cables. Have used other brands of banana plug terminators with equal success. The interconnects sound fine to me also, but have never done any serious comparisons to other "store bought" brands.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the speaker cables have two wires on one channel, and one on the other? also, I'm not very hip on the green cable being left doing nothing on the interconnects. seems that it could cause some interference. any thoughts?

If I had my druthers I would connect all three connectors to a single RCA jack/ Banana plug, that would even thing's right out......

that green wire on the interconnects would be perfect for use as a phono ground wire  I don't think it would affect anything not being connected though for CD or other source . . . :scratch2:

and it's OK . . .the electrons going to the positive speaker terminal are bigger . . they need that extra wire :D

Just made my Wally World speaker cables.

They are very neutral, allow a clearly defined sound stage and generally do not seen to be doing too much wrong.
Need to give it some time but it really is a winner so far and even the wifey is impressed.

I built mine with Neutrik dual-bananas that seem to be perfect for the larger cable, and no exposed wire or loose ends to short accidentally. I'm using four 10-foot lengths for my bi-amped JBL 4345s. I didn't bother with inter-connects.

I'm very happy with the WLM diy speaker cables, they sounded far better in my system than flat radio shack wire that some recommend.

Built a pair of the speaker cables a while ago. I tinned the ends with silver solder. They are presently employed between a pair of Indignias and a Scott 222C. Very nice!
