Cracks developing in my Grado F2+ cart body!

I've just noticed that there is a crack on each side of my F2+ running about a quarter inch directly in line with the stylus mount. Looks to be stress fractures. Is this a fatal flaw and has anyone else experienced this? I've noticed that the later prestige carts have a thicker "boss" molded into the side as if Grado Labs discovered the problem some time ago.

I ran a Grado ZF1 for years before noticing a crack similar to yours. Didn't seem to hurt anything, but seems like for resonance control, it should be sealed. I don't know if superglue would damage the plastic, but if it doesn't, the really thick kind would keep it from running into the insides of the cart. Or a very very tiny amount of epoxy kind of troweled into the cracks. Just guessing though.

I have a couple of cracked Grados, and they're fine. It just seems to be what happens to 'em after they get old and brittle.
