If you saw my previous posts, this receiver was a little rough. A lot of cleaning, adjustment, Howards restore a finish, bulbs from Dwojo and a speaker push button that I had to fabricate and she is ready to go.
Dwojo went above and beyond supplying close replacements for a 35 year old receiver. Not only did he send bulbs, but he included shrink wrap, solder and blue and green film for the fuse lamp to try to mimic the original. Worked well as you can see in the blue that shows through on the power meters. FM and Stereo indicators work and are very close to others in brightness. Display bulbs are a little whiter and actually look better. Thanks for the help.
The Realistic STA-2000 was Radio Shack's TOTL receiver in 1977 and their first venture into high power receivers. Not quite the equal to the STA-2100 that followed it, but still a fine receiver. She cleans up pretty nice.
