General Interest at this point. A few of us locals are trying to plan a "Progressive Listening Party." That way we don't stay at one house too long and piss of the wife. :D

:scratch2:

I'm hip. Not sure if I'll be able to be a "progressive" host with the new baby but I surely could pull off an "attendee" :D

Give me a call and let me know what your plans are Craig. I'm ready for that drink you were talkin'bout :D

It will be my pleasure to buy you one, Dad. :thmbsp:

I'm going deer hunting this weekend, but perhaps next weekend? And Paul, certainly understandable as far as you hosting with the new baby. Let's see who else responds. :smoke:

I might be up for it, but it will depend on when it happens. I'm about 2.75 hrs away from STL. It sounds like a good time.

I'd be interested depending on when. I'm about 150 miles out of STL so hosting here probably wouldn't work out. I don't know what I'll be able to do during the holiday season but I'll keep an eye on this thread.

17th would work for me but it may be a bit short notice for the out of town folks wanting to roll in. Just a half day may be a deterent to those folks as well.

Let me know when and I'll be there. Depeneding on what's going on I could bring a few items also.

Ok then, sorry if it's short notice for the out-of-towners but we could always plan a larger GTG after the first of the year.

For you local folks, how about next Saturday the 17th? We could start at SheltieDave's house, head to my house, then over to Andy's (STLABC). From there??????????? :D

I would be interested can't host as i'm in Springpatch Illinoise maybe Gearhead(GEAR?) and i can carpool down who knows

Here is a tentative schedule for the am on Saturday the 17th...
8:30 to 12:30 by half hour segments
1. Garage system: Altec 604Es and Marantz 2245
2. Living room: Klipsch RF7s, Monarchy SM70 pro, Merlin tube preamp
3/4. Basement two ways: Klipsch KHorns, Marantz 250, Blueberry preamp; AR 2As, Marantz Model 19 receiver and/or Blueberry preamp, VRD tube amps
5. Basement HT: Klipsch Chorus IIs, RSW 15 sub, Sansui G9000DB receiver
6. Open

We can afford to be very flexible without people traveling long distances. I would ask the anyone attending to feel free to bring music CDs/albums. We can support an extra quality turntable or CD player if desired, but we have enough amps and preamps at my place already.
