aka Blind Sugar McGee
:scratch2: you might be dealing with BPC if...
you don't feel anything when you turn the knob.
you don't have any knobs, just buttons.
manufacturer has some never-heard-of sci-fi name like Astratek or Startron. (as opposed to legits like Magnavox)
Liquid Crystal Displays.
manufacturer has some never-heard-of Asiatic name like Kyototron or Tokzilla. (as opposed to legits like Sony)

You press the power button and you push the unit across the shelf.
You've felt harder plastic on your kid's toys.
The RCA jacks are labeled "yeah" and "right".
The remote control consumes more power then the unit itself.
On the back it says: "PROUDLY made in China".
You sit another component on top of it and the top caves in.
When you open up the box, the smell reminds you of a Harbor Freight store.
Two words: Lead Poisoning.

if its in a so called ak'ers bedroom, hooked up to a bunch of plastic speakers,
asking if he should give it away or sell it. but hes keeping it instead. cuz he loves it the b.p.c

Your cat ignores it because it won't get warm enough to lay on....
Your cat pisses on it because, well, cats have a funny way of talking .....

*the front panel is plastic and clipped to the punched out chassis that is partially thicker than tinfoil.
*the RCA jacks come off when you pull out a plug
*the screws are made of lead and burr as soon as you touch them
*the internal components are 'flying pigeon' brand or my favourite capacitor brand 'suntan'
*the power cord weighs more than the rest of the unit
*it has covers over features that aren't installed or extra buttons that are missing with poor mouldings covering the holes
*it has a 'reset' button on the back for when it locks up
*it has sticky pads instead of proper feet
*its rated power output is at least 10 times the total power consumption (i smells a rat..)

If you have been trying to sell it for over 3 months and have started to beg for someone to buy it.

The dust bunny people cant wait to film at your house.

It has more blinky lights then a Christmas tree.

You can hang it in your Christmas tree and people comment on your pretty lights. :D
