I hooked the speakers up to my main system as a "poor man's" center channel. They are on the "B" speaker terminal of my KA-801, and since they are more sensitive then my B&W DM2 MKII's, they give a strong center presence which is great for TV and movies with both sets of speakers running. I have them on each side of the TV, on the floor. I also found out that my B&W's are wired reverse polarity just now. Positive voltage on the speaker's positive post pulls the woofer cone inward. I know some speakers are wired "backwards" and I just found out these were, as all went to hell when I turn both pairs on. I reversed the polarity of the B&W's, and, to me, they actually sound better this way. Who would have thought? I never even considered checking them. I now have to find a remote for the Kenwood CD player. Ebay, here I come. The funny thing is, I just got a remote via Ebay, real cheap, for the Technics CD player right before Christmas. It started acting up almost immediately afterwards. Figures. I have a friend that can probably use the receiver and tape deck, as his receiver quit working. By the way, I never did compare the Bostons to the Minimus 7's in the computer system. Too much crap to move around given the size difference between the Bostons and the Realistics.
