Psb CS-180 ??

Yet another question from moi :)
I have a chance to pickup a pair of PSB CS180 speakers. The only problem with them, is the front face and the cabinet seem to be coming apart. These speakers are being offered for FREE. The donator, says that all drivers work correctly.
I figure wth, why not pick them up and see...but I was looking for some thoughts as usual.

Wonderful speaker. The front of the speaker is a composite material and I suppose the adhesive has worked itself loose from the main cabinet. The efficiency is moderately high 91 dB/w/m if I recall, good power handling and I have an excellent review from Audioscene magazine (somewhere...)

Nice flat response, 2 models down from the PSB stratus at the time.

Don't injure yourself, but run and pick them up immediately.

I'll supply you with more technical info if you want it.

So I picked these bad boys up today. Pretty heavy. The front is not coming away from the cab, one corner of the cab has been badly damaged. Like it was sitting on it's side and it got wet. I can't feel any water damage on the side as you normally could. None-the-less, the cabinet is separating. I have some tricks up my sleeve about getting it back into shape, and will probably give those a shot over the next couple of weeks.
I am just in the process of reorganizing my basement, as you will see in the pics. Although only one speaker has damage as mentioned above, the other one is pretty near perfect. They do sound really good actually...which is a surprise as I have never heard PSB's. Not bad for free.
Here are the pics...oh the model is PSB180W and they are consecutive serial numbers.

Nice score and cant beat the price.
The CS-180's have the same driver thats in the
50 MKII's (which is a fine speaker also)
They are 6 Ohm impedence
150 watt RMS peaks to 250
They also came in black
The CS-260 was the next speaker up
and had the same polyurethane front panel
that was injection molded and acts as a
resonance absorbing baffle.
The CS-260 has two 6" drivers instead of one 8"
PSB has been around since the late 70's
and still makes fine speakers today,
And Canadian at that!

Well they sound good. Just have to figure a way to fix the cabs. I even like the look.
Thanks Sluggo.
