H.H. Scott 10-B speakers!..?

Recently aquired A pair of Scott S10-B speakers for 18 bucks at a yard sale,...
Thought the Scott name looked familiar?... Are these worth hooking up and trying? They are HEAVY!!!,... Rated 6-8 ohms,...
Do they take a lot to drive or are theygood with a 12 watt tube amp?

If they are like the S-15s I had, they have CTS drivers in a sealed cabinet and will sound much better than they look like they should. I found that the S-15s worked well with push-pull EL84 amplification, so the S-10s might work for you -- depening on your tastes in music and volume.

Don't expect 'em to be world beaters, though :-)
 
I have pair. Not the end-all, be-all, by any stretch, but very listenable, IMO. Never tried 'em with tubes, so I don' know about that.
 
HI,everybody i just bought a pair of scott model pro100 for $70.00 is it worth buying this speaker because the edge of the woofer needs repair and what is the difference between this model and S-15 ? thank you all in advance
