BOO Part 2: Halloween Avatar Costume Contest!

Back again by popular demand the 2nd Annual Avatar Costume Contest!

Contest Rules
Dress up your existing avatar or create an all original one. Post in this thread to become eligible. Please use good taste and common sense.

Judging
This year instead of just me picking the 10 finalist, I'd like two co-judges to help select the 10 finalist. Then the members in a poll will select their favorites.

10 Finalist Judging Criteria Entries must be in by Oct. 27
We will be looking for originality and creativity. Since some of you guys can't draw stick figures if your life depended on it, execution and technique will not be a huge factor in this round of judging. But looking awesome does help.

Final Judging Member voting Oct. 28-30. Winners announced on Halloween!
This will be up to you the members to cast your vote. This round looking really cool does help.

Prizes
clydeselor has generously donated a $25 Gift Certificate to Music Direct. Your choice of goodies from their vast collection of music or record supplies.
DENNYDOG has generously donated a brand new copy of AC/DC's Black Ice LP which is due to be release on Oct. 20th. Be the first on your block to score this album which will be no doubt a collectors item. You will also receive a Play as Loud as Hell Card (not valid in some police jurisdiction).
I'm cheap this year and I'm offering up my Vintage Vinyl Geek Collection. All in vg++ condition.
Shure Trackability Test Record/Audio Obstacle Course - Era II. 1973. Still in shrink wrap. Test the performance of your cart.
Command Stereo Check Out. Check your balance, volume, frequency run, flutter, phasing, rumble and more. 1960.
Vanguard Stereolab/A Unique Stereophonic Demonstration Disc - Dvorak/New World Symphony No. 5 in E Minor. Vladimir Golschmann/Vienna State Opera Orchestra c.1960.
Audio Fidelity/Stereodisc - Demonstration and Sound Effects Record. 1959

Fine Print
You can try and bribe the judges. I'm currently into mono jazz LPs. This is not sponsored by Audiokarma, but by the members who are easily amused. So don't bug Grumpy. It's late so if I forgot something I will add it later.

Just have fun!

Here are last years finalist.

Hey Guys,

Nice work! Remember to replace your existing avatar with your dressed up version. Not as a separate image.

Clyde... will fix. Thanks!

Umm, the rules said post it in this thread.... :scratch2:

I'll have to see if I have a copy of my original avatar kicking around before I replace it!

Yes... sorry for the confusion. Post in this thread. I guess I should've worded it better. If you're dressed up and running around outside we might not see you or think you are playing along.

I dug out my second place avatar from last year. Maybe I could go something better, or bloodier.

edit: I just reread the rules "use good taste and common sense"

Well, I thought about, weighted all my options, and went ahead and did it anyway.

I will join in on the fun again but I am having trouble uploading my animated gif. What gives? I was able to do it last year using the same program. Hmmm. I will have to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Yeah I don't know what is up with that either. I tried uploading my Pioneer Punch! cat a while back and wouldn't animate.

Cool looking avatar's so far guys. Keep em' coming. Some pretty nice prizes for first, second and third places.

Denny

If I could, I'd take the first two minutes of Wes Craven's "Shocker" and make it into an animated GIF and use that as an avatar.

But the filesize would be ridiculously huge...
