Something just don't seem right... they mention prices next to nothing.. but the prices aren't cheap. All the listings end within seconds of each other. Also, mostly good english, but the first line reads like a typical scam... Also the offer of $900, and they reply back that's too cheap...

What gets me is the photos all appear to be taken at the same place, so that kind of takes away from thinking scam. I sure wouldn't be fast to buy any of these myself... Just doesn't feel right... I also wonder how the person came up with the prices? Maybe she has reciepts, and if so, that's his fault, but she seems to know what they may be worth??? just too fishy for me..

I know - it's pretty intriguing isn't it. She has responded to a few emails that I sent telling her the pricing on some of this is waaay high. Still, 9 feedback and a "local pickup cash only" combo leaves me a little leery.

Very interesting collection of stuff though don't you think? Way more than he average person would have room or need for....

Seller's Feedback is fishy too. Most of the buyers have 50-100% bid activity with this seller. :scratch2:

what if we pay at the door?;-)

I have a feeling there will be no door, because I think they are hoping not many in the area, OR, maybe some excuse will come up... because of this line... "If you can not pick up, I will have my brother pack and ship these items either via UPS or USPS after I have received paypal payment."

Pricey!!
Looks like she wants top dollar; high starting bids and higher BINs.
Interesting stuff, though.

Same seller from about a month ago. Lots of auction end with one bid(probably due to high prices). Anyone buy anything or ask for location to view in advance of sale?

Isn't this the same story and gear that has popped up several times before? If so, I smell a scam.

I vote legit. She has had counsel as to value and will not be denied her fair share. Probably will have to relist more than a couple pieces though, high starting bids turn buyers off, even if the numbers are where they should be.

I think its a scam. She keeps on saying these are next to nothing prices and look at what she has up, $900!!!! What the heck?

Reasons why its a scam:
1. She won't let anyone see the items in person before bidding.
2. She won't post-disclose any serial numbers.
3. Some items were sold but they are relisted.
4. Some of the items sold as working were defective.
5. Some buyers are 100% this seller's bidders.
Any risk takers? :smoke:
