How about making a system that will shock and awe you with the reality, immediacy and clarity of the sound using one amplifier, one preamp, and one pair of speakers? It certainly looks like you've got enough seventies receivers/speakers to flip for something really, really, really nice.

That would make for a very nice Shock And Awe V2.0 :)

I agree with vinyldavid.

I don't know what this is, but it might be my favorite post ever.

The world doesn't need another shock and awe system. It would no longer be shocking. Two speakers and one good amp/preamp would be shocking at this point.

I am not sure what it is either.

My guess ,someone is screaming for attention again.:D

This time, use a huge extension cord and take the fireworks display outside... for added entertainment value, choose a cloudy night and bet on the chances of rain.

Still haven't seen pic's of fire. Have they been posted, or are the BS alarm bells still ringing?

As far as phase two? If it is more of the same, this thread should be closed for lack of anything useful and a waste of storage/bandwidth, never mind the amount of safety flags that are raised.

All AUDIO, not all immaturity and placing lives at risk.

Young man (and I am assuming you ARE young), there will be two types of responses to this thread. People warning you not to, and folks egging you on to do it; but I hope you'll take a minute to reflect on a few things.

First - For those that encourage you to do this, it ain't their house that will burn down, their neighbors who will be disturbed, or their wife who will leave.

The last time, you were warned by some very knowledgeable people, that setting your house on fire was not only likely, but just about guaranteed. What happened? You set your house on fire. Learn to trust the advice of wiser more knowledgeable people because they tend to be right. Often times the reason that no one has ever done a thing before is because it is inherently silly, pointless or dangerous, and this mess is all three.

Second - Why? What's the point? To prove you can? My young friend, quantity is not quality. Having a hundred horse apples is not better than having a single pearl, simply because there are more of them.

Third - Let's examine the risks. You already know about the "setting your house on fire" part, so we'll skip that.

1 - You have one set of ears. If you destroy them, they don't grow back. Seems like you enjoy music, so if you'd like to continue doing so later in life (and believe me you do!) you had better'd take care of the set you have.

2 - Your neighbors do not appreciate having their lives disturbed by loud music, and will continue to call the police until they drag your butt to jail or you quit doing it. The more resentful they grow of you, the harder your life will become. Trust me.

3 - I believe you said once that you are married. If you still are, and you care even one little bit about keeping your wife happy, you'll think long and hard before you start this mess up again. Nothing will send a woman back to her Mama faster than a man's constant refusal to stop his foolishness.

My suggestion would be find or keep yourself one or two good setups, and get shed of the rest. You may not believe me now, but I'm 95% certain, that one day you'll look back on this time in your life and shake your head at how silly all this was. God help you if you're amongst the other 5%.

In imagination-land those things never happen. Since I'm pretty sure V1.0 only existed there then V2.0 won't do any harm either.

We'll you got up to 35 receivers up and running. I would quit when you are ahead. I would go with Vinyldavid, sell some items, get your wiring in your trailer fixed and keep a few pieces that you like and put them in each room.

Set up a good, reasonable, safe system, as has been suggested. Loud can be had safely. Once that is done, then build a trebuchet or a potato gun.
