todays lunch break finds, stereo with hissing roaches lol

some days i really wish i brought my digital camera along for the ride, i stopped at my usual 2 thrift shops i go to every other day on my lunch break, the first place had nothing, the second one i went to did, i got a old rca camcorder for 5 bucks, it was all there with the case and all, hope it works, then the lady in the back told me they just threw a stereo away and its next to the dumpster so i went back there to see what it was, i discoverd very quickly why they didnt want it in the shop. it was a sharp b.p.c. thing from the 80s with speakers, it was free so of corse i took it, what i didnt know was what was living in it.i got about a mile down the road when i herd something in the back of the car, it sounded like hissing, i went to pull over to check it out and when i did, i popped the liftgate and there i saw one of the most obsecene horrific things i have ever saw, the little sharp stereo had about 10 hissing cockroaches crawling all over it!!!!, this is a first for me, i didnt know we had those in south florida. pulled the stereo out of the trunk by the cord and shook all the roaches off it, and threw it back in the car.
ill post pics when i get home allthough its probubly not worth it lol

You are risking infesting your home with hissing cockroaches just so you can play with BPC? That's a new level of the sickness you have reached there, Rob. Where there are ten, there can soon be hundreds.
 
yeah dude, that thing is probaby full of eggs. and those things never die. you should leave it elsewhere. or take it back to the dumpster you found it by.
 
yeah im starting to regret taking it too, and no this thing is NOT comming inside my house, i just had to share this one lol
 
i have a funny feeling this thread wont last long, but next break im throwing it in the dumpster behind my work. -i think its a good idea.
 
Man, I'd throw a bug bomb in your car and let it fumigate a day or so...no telling how many escaped only to drop eggs....
 
I hate roaches more than about anything on the planet. And ones that hiss? Yikes. If I found a Byston 4b SST in the trash and there was a roach in it, I'd probably put it back!
 
yeah i hate roaches too, living in tropical south florida its a constant fight keeping them away, i find them in gear all the time, but my house is free of them, and every time one sneeks in, it dosnt live long..
 
South American hissing cockroaches are not only noisey, but mongo in size. You can put leashes on them and take them for walks.

Those are the type of roaches that move your furniture around when you're not home. jezzzzz. I just got chills up my spine thinking about them.
 
did you really hear them hiss ??? were they this big in size??? I found one called Madagascan Giant Hissing Roaches
