Polarized outlets for a Kenwood 700m?

Long ago I rebuilt a beater Kenwood 700m with lots of help from EW. One thing I didn't do at the time was replace the four rear outlets because I didn't have a source for the parts. I just bypassed the outlets and made sure nothing would short out. Time marches on and I eventually ordered some plastic snap-in outlets. A few nights ago I was itching to do an easy audio project. I grabbed my 700m and hauled it over to the bench. Once I removed the back panel, I realized this might not be so simple. After scratching my noggin and inhaling too many solder fumes, I searched AK and found this post.

(Echowars' rear wiring diagram for the 700m)

Here's what froze me in my tracks - the original power cord and outlets are non-polarized while the replacement outlets are polarized. Just to make things more confusing, it appears that at least one of the outlets swapped hot and neutral (specifically the second non-switched outlet). I can't even tell if the switched outlets were wired correctly (ie neutral blade on the left and hot blade on the right) because I removed said wiring and didn't take notes.

Can I just swap the wires on the second unswitched outlet or do I need to do the same to the switched outlets?

Just for the record I don't ever intend to use the rear outlets but I'd like to get it wired correctly so I never have to screw with it again.

Wire all 4 with the correct phases. In the old non-polarized days it was common to find miswired AC outlets.

I had to trace a few wires since I misplaced the 700m schems EW sent me years ago but everything works now. No sparks or flames - just two relay clicks and she's off and running. While I had her open, I also corrected the Qe5 VI limiter error on both driver boards.

Since I was working from the underside of the amp, I transposed EW's diagram to reflect this and unflipped the miswired outlet. Just so I don't plug the cord in backwards, I clipped the ground lead off a grounding adapter and plugged the original cord into that.

Glad it's all running. If you're missing something that I sent before, let me know and I'll see if I still have it.

I know I have the CD of cleaned-up schems around here - its just a matter of where they hid themselves during the big move. According to the U-Haul subset of Murphy's Law, it should magically appear during the next move (along with Jimmy Hoffa). :D

Edit: It was hiding in a CD wallet on my workbench. It was on my freaking workbench and I didn't think the disc could possibly be inside. <shrug>
