"$2000 new"? He's kidding, right? Tell me that's not how much this system cost new.

And the look like later versions of the Marantz RG100's I have (Put it this way, I've had them for two years and I haven't even tried them yet - Oddly-enough, the surrounds are still good in these things after a good 30 years or more). You know what they say about most audio companies who make great receivers NOT being good at making speakers, and vice-versa.

He might be able to hook someone with his add. Some people don't do their homework. :nono:

Just be nice when the buyer comes to our little forum and boasts about his killer deal on CL.

I can't believe I made it to the end of that ad. Some people really need to learn basic punctuation well enough to make something "readable", let alone the truth about the stuff they are trying to sell!

It was pretty funny, though!

what is it about not using punctuation or capitalizing i think when words run together they lose their meaning not looking to bash the seller i think he's just a victim of poor communication skills what think you

Yeah, I like that part about eBay buyers low-balling as well. :screwy:

Also, if you read the apostrophe instead of the word in the speaker size description, the speakers are 12 feet. :D Yeah, he's done his homework alright!
