Up for sale is a Pioneer Elite model VSX-21. Worked great last time I used it. Unfortunately, an ax fell on it by mistake. I wanted to make sure that it still worked, so I plugged it in and there was a slight hum, then the power switch broke because it just went off and a little smoke came out of it. It is probably an easy fix, but I do not have the time to do it. It is a Pioneer Elite as it shows in the picture so it must be a really good receiver. First $100 takes it.

I emailed him and asked if he would take $50 for it? I also asked if the axe was included?

HE said I could have the receiver for $50, but the axe was not inlcuded.

I'll pass at that.
 
The fricken idiots in this world.... Probably worth parting out though if it's got discreet outputs and you can get the remote also. If it was a domestic occurrence then suddenly I feel almost thankful I'm single. If my stuff got axed...

I know its just a pioneer elite, but this ad makes me sad.

if his ole lady did it I sure hope he had thoroughly pissed her off and deserved it, at least.

the wording makes me think its some kid though. 'its a pioneer elite so it must be good' kinda sounds like he found it at a yardsale or something.
 
I contacted the individual and he lives just blocks from my work. I swung by to check the unit out. It still seems to operate. It doesn't have that classic Pioneer sound, it seems a little flat.
