Just picked up a pair of these from here:

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced them?

I have read the sales catalog info on them. I get the impression they were the TOTL in '73 and only sold that year.

I did a search here and there were a few posts, but nothing in-depth. I'm hoping someone might have something new to add.

The CPI inflation calculator says these would be $1014 each in today's money...

I can't wait to pick them up. The lady I got them from says she got them at an estate auction.

She's hooked them up to a nice receiver and says they sound amazing. I'll probably clean up the bypass pots and put in new caps. I was looking at Dayton Audio today for the possibility of a replacement tweeter. I have seen two posts where the listener thought the high end suffered a bit from a sub-par tweet.

I judge for myself when I hook up the SX-850 :music:
