I picked up a Grant Fidelity MS-2A3 Integrated from a local AKer yesterday. (I wont namedrop unless he cares to chime in
) I researched this unit quite a bit before making the purchase. I have to say WOW. It sounds great and is about 1.5 times as large (physically) as I thought it was going to be. I was not able to find many photos of this unit because there were only TWO of these units produced for Grand Fidelity as sample amps.

I wanted to share some photos of the MS-2A3 up along side my Pioneer SX-980 for a nice size and style contrast. The amp is running a quad of Shuguang 2A3C. Looking at photos, I can see this amp looks a lot like the Yaqin MS-2A3. However, Grant Fidelity mentioned that their version of the amps that were produced were designed to GF's own specifications.

This 2A3 amp was a by-product during our design process of the A-534 single ended triode 300B tube amp. To overcome the 300B tube's limited power but still maintain the sweet sound and details, 2A3 tubes are used in this amplifier to get output power to 14 watts per channel. The A-534 ended up using EL34 tubes to improve output so we never had the need to launch this 2A3 amp.
