uFonken Finished - Waiting on Drivers

Well, I finally finished the uFonken nearfield speakers for my PC. Waiting on W3-1364SA that I ordered for them. Since they are cheap, I also ordered a pair of W3-881SI to try them in the enclosures. If the W3-881SI sound good enough, then the W3-1364SF will be put to good use in another speaker project. Or, the other way around.

These enclosures are made of Foam Core, I have 12mm thk. wood marked with the pattern, but since the FC came out good enough, I just decided to prime and paint to cover imperfections. Going to save the wood for another speaker project.

Don't know how they sound yet, but according to everyone who has them, they sound great. If they don't sound that good, it will not be a problem to scrap $4.50 worth of 3/16" Thk. Foam Core.

There is one problem I found from using textured paints, they are dust magnets. The dust does get stuck between the textures.

I have tried using a damp cloth to clean my speakers. I have found the fibers from the cloth come off and gets stuck to the textures in the paint.

I have a can of compressed air next to my PC, and it is a room with A/C 24/7, since I am allergic always have an Ionizer around. Yes, there is still dust, but in my case manageable. Now, for other projects I get what you are saying. Thanks for the advise.
