I'm usually pretty carefull with online buys. I've been looking at Europe Audio because they have several products that I haven't seen elswhere, so at the start of the year I made an account with them and made a small order with them to test the waters. Just some gold plated terminal soldering strips.
I wasn't happy to see that they hit me with a small order penelty of €5.00 but lived with it. Note that as part of setting up an account with them I provided my correct street address and email address. The order arrived with no problems.
On 03 Feb I made a larger order, €116 for caps and coils for a new crossover for my speakers. I wasn't happy that over half of my order went back order but am understanding that that can happen and didn't complain.
After waiting 3 weeks I checked my account info with them on Sat 21 Feb and was happy to see a statement that my order had shipped. Strangely enough on Tuesday the 24th I received an email that my order had shipped with GLS. DejaVu. But that at least showed that they did have my correct email address. By Friday I figured that it should have arrived and checked the tracking number with GLS.
GLS tracking showed that on Thursday the 26th the package had been warehoused because of an incorrect delivery address. I immediately sent Europe Audio logistics an email asking them to look into it and inform me as to what was happening. Monday brought no answer. OK. That can happen. I sent their logistics and service another email asking them to deal with the issue and inform me.
Tuesday, no answer. My FunMeter was dropping down towards NoFun. I sent logistics, service and complaints an email asking them to deal with the issue and inform. I sent GLS an email asking for help.
Wednesday, today, no answer again. From both parties. WTF? I can accept that problems can and will happen. With a little communication one can work that out. But it's inexcusable that a company that makes it's living with online sales just completely ignores a customer's pleas for help this long. I sent both Europe Audio and GLS another batch of emails today and asked them wtf and it's past time to do something.
However this turns out I know that I'll never spend another cent at Europe Audio again.
Cheers,
James
