I listen to an FM station 90 miles away a lot. I had noticed that the old Pioneer 727 usually always was picking up a signal. My newer digital Yamaha would hardly ever pick the station up soooooo. The Yamaha is gone, replaced with a Pioneer SA9100/TX9100. I gave a friend the ole 727 and two Yamaha speakers I had gotten for really cheap that were really good speakers for building me a motor for my truck. He's never had anything like this period. :) That stereo was replaced with a Pioneer SA8800/TX8500II.

So I have one for the bedroom where I hang most and one for I am moving around in the house in the living room. Speakers are all JBL's.

Yes I think the old Tuners are better than the new.

I have four sets. L 36, LC312-1's, 4312 BK's and some 4311WX-A's. I guess I am pretty partial to JBL. Thanks

Awesome.
I always wanted a set of JBL studios, but I opted to have 4x L100s over 2x studio monitors.
Although, both sets have studio mids and one set has studio woofers. ^_^
Lets just say I got lucky on ebay with those woofers.
My dream setup is a pioneer sx-1980 on a JBL paragon(maybe 2 paragons...woot)(like i'll ever be able to get those 0_o).

BTW, i'll be needing pics of your speakers..*_*

You dont like it:)...........????????? That worked out just perfect. I sit at that desk to watch football, listen to music, computer..............everything and I had to have a way to keep the amp close, not having a remote. I do not have a lady in the house so I can pretty much do what i want. :)

I have an outdoor FM antenna and it's about 8 feet above the gable end of the house (2 story). No amplifier and running coxial.

I'm jealous of those JBLs. Older tuners were much better built than 90% of the IC-based tuners. Enjoy the radio, its nice to have someone else changing records/cds for you once in a while ;).

I have a JVC 200 disk changer over on the other side of my pc monitor that I use sometime for making tapes. I will never give up the sound of a reel to reel. I feel if you don't listen to the radio you'll not keep up with whats new and whats good.
