    I have the entire HK Slimline system at a shop for repair, he's recapped the tuner/amp, new belts for the tape deck, belts for the BSR sourced turntable. But we've hit a roadblock and hoping the AK gurus can help. He's tested and determined the ceramic cartridge itself is bad outputting one...

    I have a Pioneer SX-3400 and a bsr McDonald 4800 that I just bought. I have the bsr plugged into the phonograph on the amp, I switched out the rca's and I'm about to replace the needle just because.
