Guy is selling Rega Planar 1 for cheap but it has a Euro plug

Hey AK’ers, is it even worth it? How much money would I spend trying to convert it to work here in USA?

Does using a step up transformer hurt sound quality?

I have the opportunity to purhase a Marantz pm52 se integrated amp, but it was made for the european market and is wired for 230 volts. Does anyone know if using a step up transformer, ie from 120 to 230 volts, affects sound quality?

Toshiba sy-335 preamp unit from Europe uses 220v

Can anyone help me find a replacement input transformer for a Toshiba SY-335 preamp I would like to buy? I'm thinking it would be a straight forward job with the correct 110v transformer. Any help with this conversion would be great!
