    First Turntable problem, can't get sound out of speakers!

    I've recently purchased a turntable and an integrated amplifier with a phono input. The turntable is brand new, while the amplifier is a used Marantz PM-52. I hooked everything up properly I think? This is my first system but i have the speakers going into the binding posts with banana plugs...
