    I have a HK330i. Had it for years. Use in my garage "cave"... it's been great, except for one quirk... when adjusting the balance the sound will cut in and out and sometimes becomes muffled. I have to very delicately adjust it to get the full stereo sound back. Any idea what is causing this and...

    Dial lamp: Replaced 15V 100mA side dial light (frosted lamp with green cover) with 12V 60 mA red coated lamp. Tuning needle: Replaced 12V 60 mA grain of wheat with green cover with 12V 60 mA green coated lamp.
