    marantz 1050 with torn power cable

    İ recently got a marantz 1050 for free and its missing the power cable İ figured out where to plug the New wires but couldnt figure out which one is positive or negative or if it would even matter, i know yellow is the ground wire Any help is apriciated

    1050/1072/1060b are the same amp

    After fully restoring a Marantz 1050 (sounds amazing!) I found out that it’s essentially the same amp as the 1060b. This would have helped a lot when I was starting, given that the 1050 (and the 1072, which share service manual) is a relatively rare model, and the 1060b a bit less so. Maybe...
