    Please help me pick a set of speakers!

    As per the subject line, I am looking for advise on a set of speakers for my receiver! The speakers will be paired with my Pioneer SX-850. My initial thoughts are vintage 1970’s but I guess I’m potentially open to recommendations on current store products. I would like to keep my cost bellow...

    Old receiver, new speakers?

    Hello: I am looking for advice. A few years back, my (then) 13-year old son bought me an old Fisher rack/shelf stereo from a thrift store for Mother’s Day - mostly for the turntable. He did some minor work on it, replaced the needle, etc. and I have used it regularly for about 7 years. Works...
