    Pioneer PL-50 vs a new Project X1 or X2

    Interested in a Pioneer PL - 50 turntable. It would be restored. Do you think this would be a better option than the Project tables I mentioned? Or, would you recommend the Pioneer What would be a good midrange cartridge for both options? thanks
