    Pre-echo (and post?) showing up with a new elliptical stylus

    I recently upgraded to an elliptical stylus and now I am hearing a new type of noise on several of my records I hadn't heard before. It basically sounds like a faint and distorted echo of whatever is playing on the adjacent grooves. From what I have researched so far, this might be pre-echo...
