    QX-8000 lamp question

    Hello, I'm replacing the lights in my QX-8000 and the fuse lamps and the small bulbs are easy to get to, but I cannot figure out how to get at the screw in bulbs behind the meters. Does anyone have any tips for how to get at them? Thanks!

    lights out, (literally) on qx-8000

    Hope someone can give me an easy answer to this: just replaced all the face lights (incandescent) on this unit, plugged it in and everything worked as it was supposed for a few hours. Turned it off, went to bed. Next morning turned it back on, it lit up just as nicely as it did the night...

    Pioneer QX-8000 Hum issue

    Hi, Here is a bit of a mystery which I have been unable to solve. I have just finished a rebuild of a very nice quad receiver (with the exception of the tuner board) changing out all of the electrolytic caps and all of the transistors on the tone and Q boards (plus a pair on the phono board)...
