    Fisher R-20 output frequency range

    I recently purchased a 1958 Fisher console with an R-20 tube amp. I’d like to upgrade the speakers but I don’t know the frequency range that I should target for the woofer and tweeter. Is there a source for Fisher tube amp specifications available? I haven’t had any luck finding one so far.

    Fisher R-20 Resistor R59 Source. You know, the double-ended tall one

    On the top of an R-20 amp there's a tall power resistor, R59, right next to the rectifier tube, but electrically separated by a 50 ohm R66. R59 is effectively two power resistors, a 5500 ohm and a 100 ohm. Mine is cracked. Symptom is that all tubes glow ( 6v rail working fine ), but zero sound...

    Value of a working Fisher model r-20 medalist II (circa 1959 I believe)?

    Hi-I am interested in the value of a Fisher model r-20 medalist series II. It works, but the case it is in has a damaged door(the handle broke off and a poor attempt to fix it was made). Located in NC if that makes a difference. Thanks
