rental cars

As the title says, what do ya'll think about buying used rental cars....in this case, through an authorized dealer. My wife's 16 year old Honda CRV is on it's last legs. Truth is I'm at a complete loss when it comes buying to cars...as I've come to really hate them. Always had much better luck...
