    Trying to decide if repair is worth it...

    I have an older Sherwood Newcastle R-965 receiver that I've use for the past 15 years in my primary HT system. It worked flawlessly until recently when it started switching back to standby mode a couple seconds after turning it on. I'm assuming its some sort of protection circuitry kicking in...
