    Akai GX 400D SS need replacement motherboards

    I bought this tape deck in about 1980... almost new. Recently I took it to a repair guy here in Seattle area to get it working again... he said it has a couple of cracked motherboards, and will need to find one for parts.     A very interesting power amp from 1979. Combines analog and digital, solid state and tube. The analog is the amplification type, digital is the auto-bias, solid state for the input section and tube output devices. With front panel NFB control! What an amp, never heard one though.
