    Greetings, I have the Revox A77 R-R tape deck. The tape source and take-up guides are static and eventually I the tape will wear these guides. Also, older tapes will squeal adding that noise to a digital transfer. To remedy this, I added Teflon tape (plumber's tape) around the guides. This...
