    Marantz 2500 stopped work after 40 minutes of playing music. Did the transformer burn out?

    Today my Marantz 2500 stopped work after 40 minutes of music. The only thing that works now is the fan at very high speed. There is no burning smell. Did the transformer burn out? All fuses are OK. I don't have the skills to do this, but I already have a place to buy a new toroidal and send it...

    Help finding data on vintage Peerless Transformers

    Hello, First post here, but regular reader ;) i got a set of 2 x input and 2 x output transformers that i pulled from a working Westrex cinema PA tube amp ( it was impossible to keep it and restore it... ). They seem to be Peerless / Altec Lansing corp. Transformers, with references : T-101...
